I've used stuffed animals in the past if I had a lone bird like one of my parakeets or cockatiels. They really help!

call me naive, but i don't really even know what trolling is. i imagine the book "the 3 billy goats gruff" and the troll that lived under the bridge who didn't want the goats to pass. what can i say? i went to catholic school for FAR TOO LONG and learned about a garden that only in my adulthood found out didn't exist.

so i finally let these silly buttercups out of the growout pen with the ameraucanas. they are 14 and 15 weeks old and they went nutso! i tried to put them to bed tonight in the big coop with the big hens(my normal routine for integration, usually goes fine) but half the buttercups and all the ameraucanas took off! they ARE organizing, i tell you. stop blaming that OEGB, it's everywhere! hopefully the bird netting will keep them in or the beagle will have a full belly by morning.

and if they don't settle down, you may get your wish.
