I do know that in some breeds there is some identifying feature on one of the sexes.

I think the breed sex-links has a dot on one or the other's head.

In black sex-links, the males should have a dot on their head, but not the females. In barred varieties (including cuckoo, which is a type of barring), the head spot is larger on males than on females. In red sexlinks, the males will be mostly white, whereas the females will be mostly yellow or red.

One of my chicks has a dot on its head!

In a black chick with a white spot, it might indicate gender, depending on the parents. If some other colour, no gender indication, although it does indicate genetic makeup of the chick.

well, i probably thought it was as funny as you did! when i tell my fireman that i can't get things done or blah blah blah, why hasn't he done something, i get the "well, you're a stay at home mom. that's your job." hum, apparently i suck at my job and should be fired and i am severely underpaid! i suggested that i bring back the very affordable house cleaner to take care of things. he said, " how about he pay ME her wage and i clean my own house." sure, there were 2 of them and it took them a little over 3 hours and they didn't watch the 3 kids at the same time. so i need 6 hours and a babysitter.

I hate housework with a passion. I used to clean and keep perfect but with no verbal support and a DH who thought nothing of making a mess and leaving it...I stopped. Not so clean now, but less resentment from the wife. Somehow I just still don't feel good about it tho'. I guess I'm just psycho.

I only clean when my husband helps. Had an ex-husband who had major tantrums over housework, usually in the middle of the night. Mind you, he wasn't working and I was in residency or medical school, or the Army and was working 3 extra jobs just to get by, plus doing most of the work to keep a major horse/cattle operation running. He'd get manic around 1-2 in the morning and expect me to clean the house.
I now have no tolerance for that behavior. Thankfully, I have a husband who is the complete opposite of my first husband, what a refreshing change!

Sounds like you need a lawyer to negotiate a settlement. I see you getting a pretty good deal out of this. Maybe a two day off, housekeeper, babysitter vacation once a week?

I'd prefer to at least raise some packing peanuts and use them for soup or feed them to my dogs. Do my small part where I can and feel slightly less guilty.
When I can, I'll take packing peanuts from others as well, and I always tell them what will be happening to them. Don't want them to think they're going to a happy, life long pet home.
For some reason, I've yet to be able to process a banty, they'd are my pets. So, I'm always stuck having to place them when I buy or hatch them. Makes me really have to think when I am going to set eggs or buy more bantys, since they are straight runs.
