OOOPS. Do you want to split with me?

Garden survived the hail... Very cool.

Hardy toms ya doled out Gallo...

Got them covered tonight and likely will have to all week.

Thought for sure the garden would be beat up pretty bad, but the hail was soft like slushy snow and melted from bare ground pretty fast.

Thanks for all the coop tour photos enjoyed them!

Those things have foamed in place insulation like a water heater. The adhesive properties of the foam might be keeping the back on.

Picts please!

Well, there ya go. I forgot step four. Tear it apart with the tire iron.

Great, I'm totally out of feed. I'll figure something out for a few days. Thanks for letting me know!

I've got a few 1-2 lb sample bags from the tour if you need some...

BIG ROO always looks ticked, seems to be his nature, he was a skittish young'n but was still eating out of my hand a month ago. Had a bunch of kids in on Halloween and he was fine, not happy but fine. Then wham he starts attacking me out of the blue, guess I should have seen it coming, hens are rosying up, he and other banty roo starting their strut, but he caught me totally off guard.

As it is now I can't go in the pen and get anything done when he is in there, I spend more time dealing with him and don't feel I can trust him with others or kids soooo.

I think he would make a great free range roo with more hens and challenge though. I just don't have the time or funds to set up for that right now, nor the time to work with him. In fact now days I hardly see any of them except on weekends. Up with first light, working thru till sometimes 8 at night...

And he is keeping my social hens away from me with all the rucus!

Sorry hearing bout the hen troubles - hope the warm water works out!
