OK - here's the real T-shirt deal.

Ray said the press is available & we can make it happen for the 11th. He's got a screen & ink & everything else.

I used to purchase T-shirts from Mcreery's T's around 40th st & I10 for around $2 a wack & I figured for around 30 or 40 bucks I could supply all'y'all with BYC shirts.

(or so I thought)

McCreery's doesn't want to deal with anyone not in the retail business anymore. Ray said they want an EIN# & proof of advertising etc, etc... Multiple hoops to jump through.

So Ray has been buying shirts from an outfit in Cali & having them shipped & cost is around $6 a shirt.

The Control tower will revoke my flight status if I try to give away $100 worth of shirts.

I'm going to search around & see if I can locate an inexpensive local supplier for shirts & if anyone has access to an inexpensive local supplier of shirts, please let me know.

Well, I would think trying to have them before the 11th would be hard anyway but take some time with it something should show up. You got to get BYC's permission also. Be great also if we could have the shirt show the AZ forum. The other forums can get their own!

Maybe I can help think up the AZ BYC logo. I am pretty good with that.

I'm way better at the "seeking forgiveness thing"...

BYC does not sell T-shirts in their online store so competition is not an issue.

Wadda ya think moderators? Can I make some BYC AZ forum T-shirts for the Phoenix poultry show?

So far...

I can get Gildan (good name brand - I've used them bunches before) heavyweight preshrunk 5.5 oz cotton T's for around $2.50 apiece (the color is ash but we could get any color for .25 each more) - but I've got to buy $75 worth to make it worth while. XXL would be $4.50, XXXL would be $5 each. Youth sizes in XS, S, M, L & XL will be $3.00 each

Let's try that again with more finesse...

Youth sizes

XS, S, M, L & XL - $3.00

Adult sizes

S, M, L, XL - $2.50
XXL - $4.50
XXXL - $5.00

Here is the site

Again, I could have swung $30 without blinking but $75 is going to raise some eyebrows around here.

If you are interested, please PM me with your shirt size(s)

I'll use a dark ink (Probably black, dark blue or dark green) so if you pick any color other than ash, (add .25 per shirt) please make sure it is light enough to show a dark ink well.

If there is enough interest to order around $75 worth of shirts (that around 30 shirts) I'll lay out the $ & we can settle up at the show.

(BTW - I'm not making any $ - this is just for fun!)

Mikey

I think they need to all be the same color so we can recognize each other.....like a bright turquoise or even red. I am in for 2 xs- youth, and an adult medium and large. = 12.50

These can also be used next year at tour de coops....it will be fun..so everyone should do it!!

Sherrie t- if you want for them to hatch they will not....murphey law and if you are there you will be tempted to help, which you are not suppose to do (but I can never resist) so you should just come, even if it is just for a few hours!

Mikey D- Love the chick picture we had that issue but it was a few grown turkey in the house!!! It was funny trying to get it out. We also had a chicken come in the doggie door and perch its self on my 100 year old grand piano! I will try to load some pictures.

Well, the brooder is all set up for my Ground Hog's Day Hatch. I'll be doing final candle tomorrow and 'lockdown' for a late Wed.... early Thurs hatch. My little featherless chick died today... guess there was something wrong with it. It was doing great until today and then just up and died.

So, I have 18 hens. Four seven week old chicks... I'm thinking 1 roo, 3 pullets... a pair of Red or speckled Sussex, a buff sussex and a black sumatra with a little do on top.

I also have 23, 4 week old chicks. 1 lavender AM, 1 BLUE WHEATEN ROO, 3 EEs, 2 Olive eggers. (1 roo, 1 pullet),
2 SFHs, 3 FBCMs and 11 Icelandics of which at least 4 are roos that I can tell now.
