Don't tell my husband, but I snuck in some extra chicks today when I went to pick up the EEs! We picked up 6 EEs and I snuck in 1 Buff Orpington, 1 Black Australorp, and 1 brahma!!! Do you think he will notice that we have 9 chicks instead of 6?

YIPPY. I have had and emotional day so DH agreed, after weeks of begging, to let me get another hen.

I found some Jersey Giants and am going to go check them out this weekend. Now....I've got to have some control and limit myself to 1. That's right Selina, DH says ONE chicken. That'll make 10. My legal limit.

I really wanted to go to the race this weekend but DH doesn't want to go and any of my friends that want to go already have tickets, no extras.

I am taking 1 cat kennel to get ONE hen. Those things are monsters so I won't be able to get any more. I don't think I could fit two of those in a cat kennel. Please don't tell me any different.

I know you can't use ACV with a galvanized watere but what about a watering system that uses the nipples? I believe the nipple metal part is stainless steel. I like adding ACV to the water once a month for a week. Is is ok with the nipples? I have been just using a regular plastic water bowl when using the ACV but would just like to add it to my nipple waterer

I figured if I was in hot water for the 3 extra chicks, might as well jump in with both feet and get some ducklings too! Nah, I just couldn't resist the cuteness! Thankfully, neither could my husband.
