Arizona Chickens

My wife's crazy uncle informed us a while back that he won a auction for a "presale" of some turkey eggs and that he was going to have them shipped to our address. We just nodded our heads and said ok like we believed him. Well supposedly they should be here this weekend, I'll believe it when I see it. Just in case, do we incubate them the same as chicken eggs? Humidity, days, temperature?

Here are our two pups. a Boy and a Girl. They came from our neighbors... Chocolate Lab "Jack",and our Red Golden Retriever, "Lilly".



A different hen laid each of these eggs.... I have three other Ameraucanas that lay as well (total of 16 hens)

And this is Sally, my SLW that I hatched from Kathy's eggs last Easter. She finally started laying... the brown speckled one on top.



Not the best image., but my "Kola"... the only Icelandic that I have laying at present. She lays the small white egg on the right side of the egg pic.



This is the 3.5 month old Jersey Giant that I bought at the feed store today. She's bigger now than any of my hens including Sally who was my largest.



This is the Lavender Blue EE Ameraucana I hatched out of bargain's eggs. I sure hope it's a pullet. Any guesses?


Here are the two polish chicks I also bought today.

Let's pray they are both females.

I got this beautiful specimen from expensive eggs hatched out by Laree for the NYD hatch and GIFTED to me by THE SHERIFF!
It's nice to have great friends.

Nice pics Mahonri! The egg rainbow is amazing. I just realized that I must get an olive egger next. I love the color of that egg. I have to admit, at first glance I thought you had two little black piglets and was very briefly surprised that you had taken up raising hogs.

I am willing to transport the eggs to you from Aurorarose if I can. Where is she located? Please let me know so I can see if it is do able! I cant wait to get some of your new chicks. so excited!

. Hubby wants to come too so I need to wait until he is able to come along. I guess I owe him that since he has had such a long recovery from his accident. He needs to get his catheter removed 1st maybe it will happen on Friday. So Im thinking early next week? maybe! Please let me know where Aurorarose is located, thanks!
