My little Salty Dog did his very first crow this morning .
This little guy has to be one of the sweetest loveable little Roos Ive ever had and is a total lap baby. Caught him doing his first Roo dance too. He will be 4 mos. on July 2nd. What a cutie

Well I got something taking my eggs. Took two that were due to hatch last weekend on saturday morning. Some days i get none, some 1 or 2 and some 5 or 6. Im nursing a hen back atm, he over heated today so she has the run of my closet and gave her a nice bath to try and cool her of. She hated the bath part but once i got her dry she started eating and drinking (i think she just wanted a bath

). Since my silkes haven't been super handled and all i cant just walk up to them and pick them up, but today since she was out of commission i notice she had scabs on the bottoms of her feet, and when the girls went to bed i noticed a few of my LF have them but she is the only silkie with them. I had a hatch a few weeks ago where 6 hatched 3 blue EE's and 3 blue silkies and out of the six only 2 EE's made it. And my Ducks are free loading. My pekin pair are about 5 months old and she still isn't laying. LOL


BUT on the good news, i my brother bought 2 pygmy goats and they are staying with us. =D I hate there names so i call them mama and mister (even tho she isn't prego. LOL). My brother named them cactus and classic BORING!!!!!!!!! Ok paragraph over. LOL

Oh but to add, terri, kim the partridge silkie i hatched from your eggs laid her very first egg two days ago. =D Im so happy of her. Now im just waiting for her BFF tori to start laying.

That makes 7 out of the 10 good eggs that hatched but I lost 2 after hatching. Both of them were black but hatched weak. This last one is black but also looks kind of weak so I am not sure if he will make it or not.

John , Terri made a new AZ goats thread , Can you post some pictures of them .Im getting my new pygmys next week. my doe is 3 and the buck is yearling. I need to breed my older doe back this month.
