Arizona Silkies

I don't live in Arizona but I have silkies and have a question you all might be able to answer for me. I have a splash cockerel and 2 buff pullets, if I let them breed, what do you all think is chicks would look like? I also has to partridge cockerels and need more pullets but haven't been able to find any yet. What colors do you think these combinations would pass on to the chicks? I have pretty new to chickens but love the silkies and want more but haven't found many people around me with them. Here are a few pictures of my babies.

ok so when your new chicks hatch and you think youlle have some to spare I need 2 blue hens

Ya i think i most-likely will since i will only keep 1 or 2 depending on there quality.

I would say mostlikely you will get partridge from both pairings. But i have never hatched any of this color cross.

I was just wondering. I really want to add some black and blue pullets to my little flock but I can't find any around me. I think I might have to re home one of partridge cockerels too, 3 is to many for only 2 pullets. Thanks any ways, just thought I would ask. First adventure with chicks and silkies are very addictive.. I have 4 whites but got rid of them, not really what I wanted and I think I have 3 more cockerels.

You are welcome. =D. On the chicken calculator it says the chicks will be blue from a slash over a buff, For the partridge over buff you will mostlikely get a buff with some black feathering.

What is a chicken calculator? I have never heard that before. Thanks for the info though, I like my buff and splash silkies but I really want black chicks but can't find any nice looking ones around here, I can't find any black chicks at all.

really bummed I lost the last silver partridge hen this week not sure from what but did find a scab on the back of her head so im thinking head injury. she was lifeless for a week had her inside and looked like she was doing great so put her back with the group and the next day she was worse again. wouldnt eat or drink or stand. All my roos are coming of age and I think they are starting to be agressive with the hens. Im in search of about 4 hens right now in black, blue , Partridge, and looking for a trio of Buff.

Our girlfriend tells us that she finds small sparrow
bones in her pen..I bought the wrong size chicken
wire.. No biggie we are going to change it out.

wire.. No biggie we are going to change it out.

They are 5mos now. yep im setting on my hands waiting for winter . Thats when you can find them from breeders here when they thin theyre pens out. its harder to get mature birds here due to the heat. Most people dont breed in this heat because its so hard on the birds.

Our girls are so happy in their new coop. The pent house is
up stairs. Our son put them up there earlier, however they
were not happy.. Our Golden sebright Chole was saying
" I don't like what is going on around here!"
She put up a fuss! She might not be a she..
She is noisy..
