Anyone here interested in a dozen hatching AB eggs ?

In the interest of establishing the breed - I won't ask for any price on the eggs - only covering the priority mail and packing .... the flat rate box is what I use - runs at $15 to $17.

If you also want to buy some pure Marans eggs - let me know ... I know most of us are egg color enthusiasts - which is why we had our eyes caught by the AB... my marans are not show quality because of mixed feather color ONLY - they are from very good lines - not hatchery - and all have the French feathering on their legs - but my roo is white - so the chicks could be ANY color with BBC, blue/black splash and cucko hens !!! The eggs will all be very dark and the body type true to Marans ... but I don't show - So I only went for hardy and pure body type.

Im interested in AB eggs. Where are you shipping from?

Yes!

I will also let you have the pick of the cockerels that hatch from my part.

My Brinsea does a good job hatching shipped eggs.

Do you both live by each other ? I can send to one spot - you can split some of the shipping and I'll send a little more than a dozen each of the AB .... I usually charge $2 per egg for the Marans .. I will have to see about the flat rate LARGE box - which means shipping will be a little more for the Large size - Let me pick one up today and see if 3 dozen (I am assume you want a doz Marans) will fit in there with enough padding ....

You guys are lucky enough to be close enough to do exchanges !!!

I'll -pick up an empty large box today ... I can have the eggs ready and ship out Monday if that works for you guys.

Feels very nice to help others - I was also helped from a BYC person as my getting started in blues was a little rocky - and someone helped me out. I'm very pleased with the temperment and body of these AB's .... I'll be breeding for more robust color and the bigger eggs - but for my first generation - I am VERY happy with my AB Flock ....
