Just checked back on here, but I couldn't take them anyway. Thanks for the offer. No only do I have nowhere to keep more chicks, but I'll be away from home for two weeks right around the time they would hatch.
I am looking for oegb chicks in the Russellville AR area.any one has some please let me know, thanks.prefer, black, ginger red, self blue,or crele.
rbamterry has a pair of BBR oegb.......at least she did a day or two ago. She's in Malvern though, and I have no idea how far that is from you.
Someone who bought chicks from me has oegb, but I don't remember which color. I know we were on the subject of Lavender/Self Blue, and he mentioned creole too, but can't recall if those were the oegb or some other breed. He's near Camden.
Oh, and speaking of snakes, lol! My little wiener dog must have gotten bit yesterday. Her face is all swollen up on one side, and just a little puffy on the other. You know how thin a wiener dog's face usually is, so she's reeeeally funny looking! She must have gotten bit yesterday late afternoon when I was in the chicken yard, because the dog's were really cutting up. I thought they were getting carried away playing, so I yelled for them to settle down, but they just kept barking. I bet it was a snake. She's still the same this morning, and acts like nothing is wrong.
Glad she is doing good, and just swollen. Most folks don't realize it, but the venomous snakes we have very rarely cause serious injury or death, even to our smaller animals. The venom works well on pint sized creatures like rats, mice, frogs, toads, and such. People are just instinctively super scared of snakes.

I am of the venomous ones! If it's a snake I'm sure is nonvenomous, I think they're cool. I was always facinated by them as a kid. A friend had a book with all kinds of beautiful color photographs, and I always grabbed it when I was at her house. My 10 year old daughter is the same way. We found a pretty ringneck snake recently and she just HAD to hold it for a while before taking it into the woods.
The class is very easy.I am waiting on my supplies to come in.And I have not heard anything about the fair yet,I really dont know who does the their testing.
