I sure wish I had had my camera ready this afternoon. My son was swinging on the rope swing next to our chicken coop when George, the rooster, decided he was a threat. George put his hackles up and chased the swing back and forth, back and forth over and over. I ran for the camera, but of course he had stopped before I got it and he wouldn't do it again.
Just a reminder that there are still lots of towns and cities right here in Arkansas up for grabs in the BYC Chicken L.O.R.E. Project!
This is a massive undertaking, and everyone is encouraged to participate! Your knowledge of Chicken L.O.R.E. will earn you GFM Scratch, which are good towards new GFM Memberships, Membership extensions, or Membership gifts.
Remember - you don't have to select a city in Arkansas - cruise the selection list and choose any city still available!
Get started now! Click on the Chicken L.O.R.E. link above for all the details, and remember your Project Managers are here to help in any way we can.
Ok so all 5O of my golden comet pullets arrived safe and sound. I got 25 bonus chicks, straight run, they all look good too. All happy and chirppy in the brooder. The box that the bonus chicks came in says G.L. Wynn. What is that?? gold laced wynndottes?? I never heard of that.
