Arkansas folks speak up.........

What time? Where? Is there a cost? Can you sell, or just swap? I've never been to one, but I have a few 8 week old Favorelles I need to sell.
It is in the morning. You want to get there early (9:00 is when I would be there, maybe a little earlier). It is on Highway 28 leading out of Dardanelle on the left hand side on this open gravel spot by this place that sales used washers and appliances. Lol, sorry, I know that's not a very good description but I have never noticed any specifics since we already knew where it was. There are tons of washers and driers, though, as a landmark. You can sale birds, buy birds, and swap birds. There is no fee and it's a pretty small swap. Be warned: you need to really watch the birds there, some are not in great shape and can be carriers of diseases. But, now that that is said, I do want to say that there are some good birds there. You should have no problem getting rid of your favorelles there if you so wish.

I picked up some material today. Going to make some chicken saddles! :D
Great idea! I've been wanting to try this but I'm not the greatest with a sewing machine.

And the insanity continues! I got my order from Welp Hatchery on Friday. We ordered 25 chicks--they sent 31. I was worried about the two-day shipping time, but so far I haven't lost any. Very active birds, eating like pigs. So I am now chicken momma to, get ready for this, a total of about 75 chickens. In addition to the 9 ducks and 2 turkeys.

Our big coop is not going to be big enough. Time for new construction!

This is my first go on selling anything. What do the birds go for? I know it ranges depending on breed, age, sex etc. but any ideas on what to ask for them in this location? Mine are 8weeks old, and I have boys and girls.
