Got a ways to go to catch up with our record of 13 days after an ice storm once, didn't have chickens then, had a good wood stove and a generator that would at least run the lights and the water pump. I feel for you all, though, I wouldn't want to do it again.

All the chickens are doing fine. even the 5 week olds. I haven't put anything in the incubator yet. We'll see how the electric goes.

I lost an entire bator full but had another 30 ready to go in.

The electric came on about 2 hours ago.
Cleaned the ruined food out of the refridgerator and the top freezer.
Washed the dishes.

If all goes well I'll set 48 on the 3rd.
