"Chickenstock" just gives me goosebumps...wish we had one in north Ark! I never thought I'd have this much fun with chickens, and chicken people are the best.

Hello to all from Newark Arkansas. If ya havent heard of newark it cuz you miss it if you close your eyes. Its between Newport and Batesville Arkansas.

We have a little of everything. CHickens, ducks, donkey, horse, rabbits, beagle dogs, and a Pair of coons. Yes I said coons. I know coons and birds dont mix but my son raised them form babies and they are to tame to survive in the wild.

We are checking into raising some quail. My son wants to do it for a 4-H project. We have a sportsman incubator so we are huntin quail eggs.

Just wanted to drop a line and say howdy and that i'm so glad that we found this site.
Later,
Shirl and the kids

Thanks Jackie, I have since learned that it starts at 1 but you better be there by 10 to get a parking spot. WHen you were there, about how many chickens and goats were there?

They had some chickens but nothing that really looked interesting to me. They had LOTS of goats. I didn't look close at them but I do know there were a bunch of them.

Now as for chickens there are a lot at the Beebe flea market
Some are sad how they have them packed into the cages. But they everything from guineas, peacocks, and lots of chickens. I have never stayed for the livestock action.
