Arkansas folks speak up.........

Got 3rd egg from the welsh Harlequin duck today :) she decided today along the fence line for the muscovey ducks guess she's showing off a little so hard not to put these eggs in a incubator lol I know my guys been doing the job cracked one open

@Rayray, LUCKY! I think mine will lay for the first time while we are gone LOL. @Ozarkguy have yours began laying yet?

@Ozark, I can't wait to get ducklings from you! I'm so excited haha! I know it will be a while but still!

I haven't heard of any one having any roos for sale.  I'm looking for a couple of hens, myself, but I'll keep my ear to the ground.

Sadly I never found any one offering any chicks.  Are you hatching any?

Not yet, I thought I would wait until the eggs are a little larger, not so pullet sized ya know. If you want some when that time comes I will let you know.

Anyone around the LR area have any Polish for sale? Looking for a couple of hens (black or blue {white crested}), even red would work. Can't pay high price.

Well, we are doing better. Karen and I got married January 18, 2014. That gave me three step-sons to go with my five kids. Korey is 11 and has down syndrome. But he loves helping water the chickens with his "John Deere" tricycle.

I survived the renal cell cancer and removal of my left kidney (6/24/13). Jahdan (12) makes a very good farm manager! We had a tough winter and lost a few birds. but all of our breeding pens survived! Jahdan added a few breeds for his new hatchery. All heritage breeds. We added Buff Minorcas, Delawares, Light and Coronation Sussex, White Silkies, Buttercups, Silver Phoenix, Silver Spangled Hamburgs and Chocolate Orpington Bantams along with Barred Plymouth Rock Bantams. We have also acquired a flock of American Buff Geese and tripling the size of our Narragansett turkeys.

Jahdan's new incubator will be ordered in April and he will start his new hatchery!
