Arkansas folks speak up.........

Ok. Wow! I really messed up that last post with all my pics. The pics and comments that are supposed to go with them are all mixed up. I don't know what I did wrong.

This is Friendly. I don't know what breed she is, but she is very sweet.. This is a pic of her at just a few days old. . This is one of my bantam roos. I am not sure about the breed, but thinking Black Cochin. . One of my RIR's and another unidentified breed chick named Peep sitting on their new roost.. Left is an EE and right an EE and a Light Brahma. . Left-Blue Andalusian, Right-Polish Both of these are of my little blind girl who is a Light Brahma named Matilda. I know this is a lot of pics, but I have a lot of babies. This is not even half. I'll have to show off some more later. I apologize for the picture quality. They were taken with my phone. Plus the red light in the brooder made them all kind of pink looking. I hope you all like my babies. I am very proud of them.
they are all very cute

@Chillin' with my peeps Thank you. I just realized that I made it sound like Matilda is completely blind. I don't think she is. Seems like she can see a little. Her depth perception is definitely way off though, but she manages to eat and drink okay.

not that great of a pic but my silkies are officially as tall as the 7 lb feeder I think its time to go outside!

How old are your Silkies? Some of my chicks could probably go on out to the coop, but in just about 2-3 weeks they will all be old enough. I'm thinking about just waiting until they are all ready and putting them out there all at the same time. That way I will not have to reintroduce them to each other.

Hello! I hail from the Garfield/Gateway area :cd  ... we commute to Rogers/Bentonville for work :yiipchick . We wanted room to stretch and moved from the "city" to a more "country" setting. I LOVE it "out here" and have added raising chickens/ducks along with my country boots and Jeep :celebrate
