We are going to be Arkansans before winter. Finally. Will be relocating our 7 pellets and 4 dogs to our property near Toad Suck. Goats scheduled for May of 2015. Our dream is coming true!

Were you from Arkansas? How did you find a place if you didn't already know folks? Sorry for all the questions but my family is thinking about relocating and Arkansas looks to be ideal

Two of my husbands brothers relocated from California to the Conway area of Arkansas about 12 years ago. His mother followed along with his 2 other brothers. So we have family there now.

It is green, no water shortage. Lots of lakes and rivers. We have owned acreage there for a long while. Just about 30 miles NW of Little Rock. My friend lives up north in Mountain View... Also a real nice area.

We are very excited to finally be making our move!

Hey guys im jenny I live in arkoma ok which is directly next to ft. Smith ar where we do all of our shopping and such... just wanted to pop in and introduce myself and maybe make some closer chicken friends nearby as in the okie feed everyone seems much farther away lol I love seeing pics and learning new things here on byc I just started my little flock recently and I have a few chickens and 4 baby chicks thus far and getting more organized and excited every day, just wanted to say thanks for letting me join in

You are fairly close to me I live in Booneville,AR! It's a 30 mile drive to Fort Smith from here.
