Arkansas folks speak up.........

If I hatched very often I’d get one that is easier to clean, probably a Brinsea. With the tray in the bottom that’s not real hard to do with mine but still, the white Styrofoam stains and you need to clean it well between hatches. I clean mine outside and if it is windy I have to be careful to not break the Styrofoam.

I have the older model with the dip switches for changing temperatures. Those are a real pain. Mine came running about a degree and a half too warm from the factory. I struggled to get it adjusted correctly but once I did it really holds temperature well. The newer models are a lot easier to adjust temperature but I don’t know how well they hold temperature once you get it there. I’d expect they do OK but I don’t have any experience with that specific control. I strongly recommend you do not get an older model with those dip switches.

Hey folks been awhile since ive posted my entire flock got whiped out by dogs and kinda discouraged me but thanks to tsc 99 cent chicks and 1.99 ducklings im back also looking for people near ne arkansas who have turkens and silkie hatching eggs im willing to travel a little

We are in Earle, AR. Have a large group of brown egg layers, mainly rocks and wyandottes. We have five large roosters: Silver Laced Wyandotte, Gold Laced Wyandotte, Cuckoo Maran, Easter Egger, and Blue Laced Wyandotte. We sell hatching eggs (mixed brown eggs layers) and mixed chicks when available.

We do have a quad of Spanish Andalusians for sale. One rooster and 3 hens. They were born in July 2014, and lay every day rain or shine.

Thee are several folks from NW Arkansas in here. I haven't seen too many selling hatching eggs though. Several are asking for them.

I don't know too many with Naked Necks, I have them but I'm in Central, near LR. Right now though I'm not getting too many eggs. When this ice hit us the first tone around it really got my hens. They just about quit, getting 2 or 3 eggs a day. I'm collecting what I can for the Easter Hatch -A-Long.

I do however have a few NN hatching out late this week.

Sorry to hear of your flock troubles. Groundpeck raises nice silkies and I think he is over in your neck of the woods. I haven't seen him on here in a while, but I think I remember a link to a web site on his profile page.

Yep, I was correct. Here is a link to his web site. Looks like he was last on BYC in December.

I have a pretty white roo that needs a new home but that doesn't help you if he doesn't have any girls.
