Hello icequeen. Hopefully someone will chime in. I only know that groundpecker (on BYC) sells silkies. Or at least he used to. I believe he has a link to a website on his profile page. I haven't seen him on here in a while so don't know if he is still active with silkies or not but that's a place to start.

We are in Vilonia, well about 4.5 miles north of the actual town, on the northern ridge, at the end of the Ouachita Mountains.

I hatched a few pure Wheaton Marans eggs from 4/8-4/10. One of the chicks let his legs separate under him. I know he wasn't split legged when he started walking, but it got worse as he let his leg go. I have taped it up but don't have the time to take care of his needs. If anyone wants him please take him. I am outside of Fayetteville.

He may be suffering from a vitamin/mineral deficiency for his legs to be doing that at this age. I'd put him on some supplements in his water asap.
