Arkansas folks speak up.........

Your girls are just beautiful! Your boy is too! Makes me want some SF pullets all the more. I'm having a difficult time finding them in Arkansas. I could order them if I wanted 6 or more. But unfortunately 2 is all of them I will be able to get. :(

Thank you. They are a wonderful breed. I hope you can find someone to split an order with.

Don't know if it'll help where you are, but near me we have feed stores who put in orders from a number of big hatcheries and can add whatever you want to the order for only the price per chick. That way there's no minimum you have to meet (there's a lot being ordered anyway) and there's no shipping charge to add to their existing order.

Does anyone know of anybody selling Salmon Favorelle pullets in Arkansas? I would really love to have a couple of them. They are too precious! Plus they lay off white eggs. I ordered my 6 chicks for March today and wasn't able to order any of the SFs. The reason being I only wanted 6 to 8 more chicks and had to order what was already being ordered. They don't have to be little babies. If anyone knows where some might be I would be so appreciative. :jumpy

Might check Searcy Farm Supply, I was just there yesterday and the dark haired girl who works there has some and buttercups too. She has some in incubators now. Ive got tons of chicks but no SFs. I want more NNs and Croads!

Thank you all! I will check into all of these options. The feed store I ordered from couldn't order only 2 SFs. But I went ahead and got my EEs and RIRs ordered because those are breeds they are getting big amounts of anyways. Hopefully I will have some luck. :)

Draye, mine are still not laying although I extended light
rly this month. When they do I'll let you know if you still want some eggs.

That'd be great.

Three, three and a half weeks ago i switched mine to a 22% protein game bird layer, that has helped mine out some on the laying part, not great but Some improvement. I'm getting it cheaper than I was on the 16% layer.

I'm shooting for a March 4th set date for my next hatch.
