Oh........thanks Jackie. They are saying by the end of the month for sure. Right now we're prepping for 40 mph winds and T Storms. OHHHHHHHHHHHHH.. I want power!

We have a generator so I go online for short periods as we need it for fridge and freezer etc.

Hi Kind of a funny story about the ice storm. My brother lives south of Mountain Home down in a valley. The national guard was going out to check on people after the storm. They tried to get down to his place and got stuck on the hill. When he went out to work, there was a humvee and some other huge truck that they had abandoned. They had to come later and tow them out. He's lived there all his life, so he knows how to navigate in his 4x4 truck.

I know the ice is all gone now. We just got back from a 3 week trip overseas, so it's all new to me.

I had to give my two pigs away as I couldn't handle it without water but the chickens survived. They went into a molt since I was using a light and all of a sudden COULDN'T. Now they look half naked and are picking eachother like crazy.

Things kind of got off kilter around here.

Our yard looks like a war zone and we have two holes in our roof and it took out our AC. Minor damage compared to some here.
