Arkansas folks speak up.........

I've got two broodies!

I just wish they would stagger their broody behaviors. One is in the broody buster and on is on a clutch. Counting down!

Any one else starting early?

No broodies. .

Getting ready to set March 3rd. Plenty if Nsked Necks and even done from my green egg layer.

I set 19 eggs on the 13th. Had them mailed in from CA, and thought they were packaged great, I think they got shook up pretty good.

I candled yesterday, and 8 of them appear clear, 6 of them have saddle shaped air cells (some really huge and weird shape), and the last 5 appear to be progressing fine.

Anyway, this time next week I ought to have at least a handful of baby Chocolate Orpingtons.

I'm on my third hatch of the year. I have BCMs and Wellies in the bator on day 10 right now.

Brooder is full of Olive Eggers and Ameraucanas.

Hi y'all! Im new to BYC and in the process of getting chickens. I'm finishing up my coop in about two weeks and my chicks won't be shipped in until the week of April 11th... So I have some waiting to do :( I live in Judsonia, AR do I have anyone close to me ?

Don’t we have someone on here from Searcy? Can’t remember for sure.

Anyway, welcome from up in the Northwest corner. I’ll try to beat Puddin to the question, what kind of chicks are you getting?
