Hi y'all! Im new to BYC and in the process of getting chickens. I'm finishing up my coop in about two weeks and my chicks won't be shipped in until the week of April 11th... So I have some waiting to do I live in Judsonia, AR do I have anyone close to me ?

I had a Livestock meeting Monday night, Worked the election Tuesday and wrapped up my Master Gardner training today. Now i am slipping down to the coop to candle my broody eggs.

Well, had one obvious clear, one too dark to see through and 5 with something going on. I decided for the next candling I need: 1) a more powerful flashlight and 2) a pair of glasses!

BTW: What do you guys do with your clear eggs after candling?

I have a mixed flock, Salmon Favorelles, Mottled Houdan, Silver Gray Dorking, Black Cochin Bantam, White Phoenix and several Silver Phoenix crosses.

I'm located south of Little rock 30 miles. Anyone have any laying hens for sale. I will have good size flock of Cream Legbars by next year (Lord Willing). Just trying to have enough eggs till then!!!!

Located between Forrest City and West Memphis. Have mixed flocks,ducks,chickens. Covered up with fertile duck eggs. Have barred cochin and buff orphs on third day incubation. Anyone close? We are looking for turkey poults? I stumbled upon this site looking for advice about the LG incubator.Thought it was cool to see all ya'll Arkansas folks on here WOO PIG !!!!!!

Well we officially put 96 eggs in the incubator sunday. White silkie, salmon faverolle, cubalaya, barred Wyandotte, Sicilian buttercups, silver lakenvelder, silver spangled hamburg.
Woohoo. Can't wait to see what all happens. We didn't originally ask for all those but that's what u of a gave us.
Anyone else hatched any u of a eggs this year??????
