Arkansas folks speak up.........

Oh good grief! We're soaked! Might I add that you should never ever go into a wet chicken run with flip flops on.

They sink and it kinda leaves a lot to be desired between the toes.

But at least you can just hose your feet & shoes off and be done with it. That's what I like about Crocs - that and they're comfy.

The thing I hate most about all this rain is all the water & mud that gets tracked in with ONLY 2 humans, 2 cats and 1 dog. We might as well call it a dirt floor if we had kids

Yesterday there was standing water in my yard (and we live on top of a hill) and it rained more, and is still raining....

5.5" and counting

It's so stinking muddy out there and my white EE roo (who just crowed for the first time this morning no less than 15 times in a row) has gone frisky on my beautiful buff orpington girls and is making them muddy! I couldn't figure out why her chest was covered in mud....until I saw the mud on her back.

I even had to bring a cochin in b/c she is drenched and not looking good. I am tired of rain

I live by the AR river and it's up past the boat ramps and I think some is in my backyard. The boards we buried to keep things from digging into the chicken pen has flooded the place. Even my ducks are fed up.

I know it was shut down Saturday. It's gotten to be a pretty big deal. I heard they are booking some pretty good bands. I haven't been since they moved it from Toad Suck park. I guess you could say I'm protesting.

Our yard is a mushy mess! The coop sits on high ground (thank goodness), but the whole path to it is under water. It's almost knee deep in places. Of course, my 6 year old thinks it's fun!
