Eva will be OK!!!!! The vet said she bruised the nerve at the top of her hip and there some swelling. She gave us some medication to help the swelling and promote healing. She said she will be ok! I can't eat any of the eggs we get because of the medicine. I feel so much better. Im going out for sushi to celebrate!

We will have to skip a month of eggs until she is off the meds, but I am perfectly happy to do so! I could eat Zoii's but there is no way to tell them apart! If I had a EE or a Leghorn it would be easier. Oh well, I love my chickens!

Looks like I'm late to the party. We're in Smithville, population 73 (how-dee!). It's about midway between Walnut Ridge and Batesville, about an hour northwest of Jonesboro. Seems like quite a few other folks are not too far from here?
