don't know what size you are buying but i got a roll of 36inx25ft at home depot in Conway for 34$ then a few days later i checked at my local feed store and he has it 36inx50ft for 48$... i just figured that home depot would be cheaper than a small home town feed store... wow was i wrong...
but i know how it is i am on unemployment and trying to build chicken, quail, and rabbit cages... slow going
i too have lost birds threw 1in chicken wire... so now i use 2x4 welded wire and the chicken wire together and make sure the birds don't roost right up next to the wire as some things can reach threw the wire 4+in ... if i am building a small cage for the birds i use 2x4's and put one layer of chicken wire on the inside and then 2x4 welded wire and the chicken wire together on the outside... ive never lost anything this way...
i am using some hardware cloth on the cages im building now but only for the floors...
hope this helps
Hope everyone is ok and verycherry - hope you made it home ok.
This weekend is suppose to be better up this way, I hope so, I have to do some rearranging of the chicks and move them to the bigger cage from the brooder case.
I've also got to get ready for the inspector to come, I'm finally getting started on my certification. YEAH !!!!
We got the coop painted, two walls covered in hardware cloth, and chicken wire across the top. The top will have a heavy duty tarp on top of that to keep out rain and still let sunshine through. One side of the bottom has a foot thick "skirt" of chicken wire burried right under the surface. I have brick on top of that. I load some pics up later and ya'll tell me what you think or if you have any ideas how I could improve it.
This is probably a REALLY long shot in the dark, but I was wondering if ya'll could help me find a place to eat.
There's this place in OK that is called "Goldies." It has the BEST burgers and fries. I am trying to find a place like that in Fayetteville but can't find one.
Ooo, sorry, I don't live up that way. BUT if you ever come to central AR and wanna good steak worth your money: Bonefish Grill in Little Rock. For good sushi, Sakura's in Sherwood or Benton. Good stuff. Hope someone can help you fill your belly up thata way
