Arkansas folks speak up.........

They are only two days old, so unless the chick color means something, then no idea. Two of them are all yellow, so they could turn out to be white like the one you got before. One is black and brown, so maybe that is the male? Sadly, one died. It was just never right. I tried sugar water and vitamins, but it died yesterday.

So, when do you want them? I could bring them to the shop.

Julie, I have somehow lost track of your phone. I will be at the shop from 12 to 5 today. I'm going to try to remember to bring your cage. It's at the other house. I have read since we talked about the buttons that the males and females make that "he he he" noise, so now I'm really confused. I will be listening for the other "wind" sound to see if one of these others is a male. But will still take yours.

On another note, I got my notice for jury duty starting tomorrow- yuck!

I am a very old member who hasnt posted in quite sometime, the last chickenstock I went to was in Mo, and I can not find any posts from any of the members that went to it, including Cindy(the one with the Queen chicken , was a turken), Do you folks meet? I am interested in Turkens again, probably will get some from Cackle. I have Chickens , mixed batch , and dwarf goats.

These are bantams?? They don't seem that much smaller than my other chicks, at this point anyway. I guess I need to get myself over to the SF thread. hehehe

I went in to feed the barred Japanese the other day and guess what I found on the nest....

2 hens and the rooster, all pancaked out! lol I had to laugh, he didn't stay long when the feed came out, though.
