Thank you to everyone who is so helpful here.

We have a fish tank like this that currently is only holding water and a dead fish - the only one that survived our move

. Our tank is 55 gals, I think. How many chicks will that hold? Do you have reptile wire on the top? What do I need to do to prepare it, other than drain it of course?

Thanks for the invite to Benton for the show. I hope we can briefly appear at least. If not, I look forward to the next time. I think the more people, especially kids, my son is around, the better he will like this.

Ours is a 55 gallon tank. It never held any water, only bearded dragons. Husband went to Home depot and bought those metal shelves and cut it to fit on top. Its perfect because it can withstand direct heat. I hang the lamps with snaps or set it directly on top. We didn't do anything special to it. I've put 25 chicks in it till they were a few weeks old.

Same here Jim, made it home from LR this afternoon and there it was hanging off of the mailbox... I am a little disappointed in the cartoonish pictures of the birds... I guess I will find an older copy with the good old Schilling pictures to go off of for my breeding projects.
