Well, I'll be seeing some you you at the swap in Benton tomorow.

Just a little rambling here:

I don't care for this new forum. It is hard to find all the threads that you posted in. In the old one you could go to "My Posts" and see them all together so that you'd know if anyone has posted anything after you did. This one seems to run slower also. Just saying.

Just a note to let you know you can click subscribe to your favorite threads and then they will be in the subscriptions. Which is located under messages (top right of your page)

I subscribed to my profile page, photo page, this thread, etc. All my favs. But you will find some of the ooooooold ones you subscribed to which is great because all you have to do is delete, delete, delete.
Now you will have a short cut to all your favs.

Hi all I am in Danville and have a girlfriend in Waldron who is needing a Coronation Sussex rooster. She hatched some back in the summer from shipped eggs but all were pullets lucky her and now they need a boy friend. Any one close to her have one they want to sell? Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend at the swaps. I wish I could go but going to take a trip and visit my mom.

Priorities! What is more important? Chickens or your mother? She will understand! You can visit her on Sunday!

Just read about the seminar and swap in Benton today...will try to come. Would love to talk "Chicken" and see other people who love their pets as much as I do.

It starts at Noon, but I will be there earlier. If bringing poultry or related items to swap, park next door at the old truck stop. Please DO NOT park under the canopy unless you have something to sell. We will also be raffling some hatching eggs before the Seminar.

At teh swap we are hoping Dr. Bramwell will give a demonstration on AI (Artificial insemination) and will have the KING BOB himself for the demonstration.

See you all there!

For those in NW Arkansas: Why are you reading this? Hit the road or you will be late!

Go on and turn BYC off, get your wallet and your coat and start driving. I-540 south to I-40 east to I-30 west to exit 118!

Well if you were not there you should be kicking yourself in the hind end. It was awesome! The food was great, the lecture was great and the people were soooo nice. Great turnout! I really had a very nice time and truely enjoyed the lecture. I wish it was longer, such great info. I hope we do this again real soon. Oh I forgot to mention the swap. Great idea, lovely chickens and pretty eggs. This was so much fun and it was so nice to get to meet some of you BYCers.

Dr Bramwell gave away lots of hatching eggs, with a priority to 4H members. I took some Araucana Bantam eggs. He said he was not going home with any, What was left our Drew County 4H Poultry Club could have. Counting the few Araucana eggs, everyone left the following:

L- 51
A- 27
G-20
B-8

Now if I could just remember what variety and breed these all are! Does anyone else recall?

The As were the rumpless Arauncanas Black breasted Red
and the B were Silicilian Buttercups

I think. You may have to shoot him a email. It would be interesting to know. Thanks.
