Hi new to BYC. I am 202Roosterlane's sister. She is showing me these Arkansas threads. Hope to meet y'all in person sometime. Need pure breed laying hens of any breed, maybe a few roos. LOL. Preferably over 4 months of age. Willing to drive 50 miles for 3 or more hens. I am from Ola. Thanks guys. Looking for some FBCM or BCM hens and roos too please. Thanks.

from Dardanelle! I wish you luck in finding the chickens you are looking for, it may be hard to find some FBCM or BCM hens and roos near you.
Edited to add: You might check out Lucky Pickens Farm in Danville for some laying hens. They sale heritage Rhode Island reds.

We have a chicken swap in Dardanelle every Saturday morning. I have gotten a few chickens there myself.

Be sure to go early if you do, or else all the good birds will be gone. It's a small but fairly dependable swap. They even had it on New Years Weekend this year.

Have you checked Kijiji? There is an ad for the FBCM roosters. They are in Bradford, not sure how far that is.

I'm still hatching and probably will be forever..... Just bought a new bottle of serum but expires april 27, 2013 cost about $150 including the shipping but will split if transportation can be arranged or someone wants to pay shipping. Price will be a proportional split of the 150(will have to verify the exact price).
