Arkansas folks speak up.........

Well I got rid of the last of my roosters that I didn't need today. Didn't get much out of them but they are no longer on my feed bill. 17 of them.

I also got a new layer this morning. One of my young pullets started laying. Not sure which one it could have been one of four that are close to laying age. It was a green/blue egg. Maybe it won't be long until the others start laying.
 
Jim what do you think of those pics? I need to take new ones. Those are about a month and a half old.

They look nice! Not as nice as those Buff Orpingtons*, but nice!

i am looking for any Salmon Faverolles from a hatchery that are darker and or redder than they are supposed to be... i am working on a Mahogany Fav's project and allot of the hatchery birds carry it... please PM me if you have any or know some one who does...
