Around the Corner, In the Woods~ A Dog RP~

Quote:
A deep growl came from the throat of Charlotte. The orange fur stood up on her neck. She barred her teeth. "Who are you?"

He stopped and looked calmly at her "Aaron"

"Why are you on Eric's territory?"

"Disgusting mongrels," the black wolf hissed under his breath as he patrolled his pack's borders. Little did he know, one of the strange dogs from the neighboring pack had heard him. "Hey!" barked a tall, white canine from the other border through gritted fangs. The wolf stopped and looked over his shoulder at the white dog. "You arrogant imbecils best be watchin' what you say!" it continued, "You don't know who you're messing with!" The black wolf uttered a caustic 'pffft', "Pah! You giant rats have nothing on us!"

"Why don't you try saying that to my face," a chilling voice hissed over his shoulder. He wheeled around to see two grinning yellow eyes glinting fiercely under the filtered moonlight, glaring at him from above on a hulking gray figure. "I-I-I... uhhh..." he stammered, pacing two steps back, pretending to regain his composure to maintain his brave visage. "I said that you giant rats have nothing on us. Are y'going deaf, old man?" he sneered, sounding more confident than he really was. He opened his eyes only for his face to meet an outspread paw, claws digging into his forehead. The wolf was forced back by the mysterious gray canine's sheer strength, and he tumbled backward into the dust, the paw still impaled into his face. "Mmm-hrmmmgmmm!" the wolf protested, feebly flailing his paws about the air.

"What in the name of-- ...what are you doing?" a she-dog asked the gray brute as she happened upon the scene, cocking her head, the subtle lop on the tips of her ears tilting with it. "A paw to the face does good to make 'em shaddap." he simply replied, a toothy smirk plastered on his countenance. She rolled her eyes. "C'mon, Swiftkill. Alpha Sabre has an announcement." she urged with a beckoning sway of her neck, trailing off.

The wolf lay there, still as a statue with wide eyes, paws curled close to his body in a fetal position as Swiftkill stepped off of him and shot him one last glare. He was still left with one question that he could not answer. What are they?

To be continued. I don't know why I always have these ideas right before dinner time.
