Aaron didn't answer, his mouth was full. Taking his sweet time, he finished his mouthful, swallowed and replied "Thank you"

Eric didn't even look at him, instead nodding to Bella, who smiled at his thanks. She curled her lip slightly at him before turning and ripping off a leg to carry to the elders, and another to take to the Queens and Pups.

She backed into the Queen's den with an irritated growl and glare.
Taquo trotted along the pack's border, checking that all was well.

Aaron got slowly to his feet, stretched, looked around to make sure that nobody was watching, then melted into the shadows.
