Well, it's hard to argue with these statistics....
Many proponents of arranged marriages point to the 0% to 7% percent divorce rate for arranged marriages in contrast with a 55% divorce rate for the United States. Although the numbers differ dramatically, this is an under-researched area and there are many possible explanations for the difference. For example, the divorce rate for love marriages in India is much lower than the divorce rate in the United States although the divorce rate for arranged marriages is even lower.
There are many cultures in the USA that practice arranged marriages, it's not necessarily forcing anyone to marry. I think it's a matter of parents wanting the best for their children.
If this is something you are strongly against, then tell your parents and be honest about it. You are 18, go to college, get an apartment, prove you can be on your own. Maybe that is what they are worried about, that you won't be able to do things by yourself.
