Arre polish bantam roosters kind to hens and people?

I would tend to agree with the second reply, there are bad apples in every basket. I have some large and bantam cochin males that will get you when you reach in the pen but it is normally when they are with hens that they get this attitude. I have raised Polish in the buff, white, golden laced and white crested black varieties and the only variety I had problems with were the golden laced. The males would chase you down at times! The white crested blacks and the buff laced were by far the most gentle males I have ever worked with and were not rough on the hens either. I think the reason being is that their crests were so large they just couldn't see well enough and thus it tempered them.
Just remember that males of any livestock species are unpredictable and can at times be aggressive. Never fun to have the yard sumatra rooster hit you in your backside when you are bent over feeding a pen of chicks!!!
