I agree! Everyone has their OWN style, and should never try doing somebody else's style. Just be you.

I still don't understand my own style and end up drawing other ppls. XD I'm caught between wanting something distinctive and hating drawing anything even slightly disproportionate. So I always draw either my indistinct realistic style or somebody else's.

I really like to take in inspiration from others. I like realistic art as well, but I do not tend to add color, which limits the "realistic" values.

Would love to see more of your art!

I am always like "Wow, beautiful anime style!"
But then I try to draw anime myself and I'm like "No one's eyes should be that big, what a trope, and what an unrealistic expectation! Why are all these people so beautiful and what happened to their noses? Why are her legs so long have you even seen a human before?"
