I didn't get around to coloring it, but here's the Iscariot guppy.
The 'guppies' are the younglings, and the only trustable companion. They are blind, using whiskers to feel around, resulting in lots of headbutt cuddles. :3
Kind of the opposite of a frog, it starts out on land, then morphs into a creature of the sea (adult not pictured). The holes in it's chest are actually large nostrils, lungs for now, then changing to gills. It looks like tough bone at first, but actually feels a lot like a horse's muzzle.
No teeth in guppy stage.

I thought that they would be vital for some kind of job in this fantasy land, but I couldn't figure out what. I thought maybe cave and mining work, since their other senses are heightened because of blindness (especially sense of smell).
They tell you not to get attached. When they morph (which is gradual, so you won't know the day or hour it will take to the sea) they develop eyes, fangs, and swimming features. Once they can swim, they will try to drag you to the water, too, drowning their rider. It is said that, even if you free them before the time, some come looking for you to take you to a watery grave. This is why they are named after the great betrayer: Judas Iscariot.
Thats super cool ;o

Monday came and went, oops.

If anyone wants to try, we do cats. Big cats, little cats, skinny kitties, fat blobs. Just try to put some character in there. Whiskers, smoople boofs, squish beans, nom detectors! Meow!
I'll do one later :) BTW I did do that crest, at least started it, just didn't finish.
