Shades of the old tootsie pop commercial? Lovely job, and if that's cheating, I'll eat my hat.Awww!
Your texture is really good. That's something I've never been able to do. I just cheat and use markings or stray fur marks to contour. My mom bought me a sketch kit one time. It came with instructions on how to do that, but it ended up under my desk. I guess I didn't have the patience.
I also hate paint. Clouds are fun, but since I don't know how to make texture, it's hard.
Here's how I cheat.

Is that his name? I just remember bits and pieces of it. We don't have cable, so we didn't get those commercials. I thought his name was Mr. OwlShades of the old tootsie pop commercial? Lovely job, and if that's cheating, I'll eat my hat.![]()
Oh, from Winnie the Pooh? I was thinking of a different thing. Is that his name? I just remember bits and pieces of it. We don't have cable, so we didn't get those commercials. I thought his name was Mr. Owl
You know, I think you really have a chance in that chicken calendar contest. Your photos are awesome. I really like that one chick with the lavender beside her.![]()
No, you had it right. Its the tootsie pop owl. The one from the Hundred Acre Woods is different. Owl is his name. Winnie the Pooh was my childhood... I should draw them. I've not drawn them since I was two.Oh, from Winnie the Pooh? I was thinking of a different thing.
Thank you. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.![]()

Do you remember that pic from the contest that had a flock sitting under a tree with the sun shining through? It was really pretty. And that one with the roo in the mist.
