As Requested - Pesto Bread recipe for the bread machine

As requested by erthymom2 in a previous thread here is the Pesto Bread recipe I used last night....it turns out Ooooo sooo good

Pesto Bread

1 ¼ cups water
¼ cup skim milk powder
1 ½ tsp salt
2 tbsp granulated sugar
2 tbsp pesto sauce
3 ¾ all purpose flour
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 ¾ tsp bread machine yeast


I made some modifications in my recipe when I made it.

I didn't have skim milk powder, so I substituted 1 1/4 cup skim milk for both the powder and water.

I also didn't have enough parmesan so I added shredded old cheddar cheese to make up the difference.

I set the bread machine to 'regular bread'.

It's fantastic!

is that home made pesto or store bought? (i've seen lots of variations to homemade pesto!)

It's store bought pesto. I love it on pasta so it's not unusual for me to have it around.
