Anyone experienced with candleing eggs and incubator skills???!!! I need some advice!!! The eggs (5) I had to take from broody after momma killed last hatched chick (less than 24hrs old) I have one hatched, one died in egg late term failure to thrive..., one not viable (bacteria), and 2 possible left in incubator..... they have been in there for a 10 days now since the first has hatched. I know one is alive and viable but could be shrink wrapped ??? and idk on the other one .... I want to open them and help them hatch. (I started with 10 I may be lucky to get a 6/10 hatch rate if I can get these last 2 to hatch) This is an urge that is driving me nuts. The last one to hatch was shrink wrapped. It is now 2 days old. I had to help it along. The membrane seemed glued to it. I used a warm wet qtip and tweezers to remove membrane from head and wing. I really would like some help with this. I don't want to loose these last 2! Momma ate an egg and I accidentally opened one killing it 😰 so that's all 10 eggs. It is possible that these eggs are all different stages of development. but I included several pics to reference to get as accurate info as possible. I marked the eggs air cells and size the one marked F is for fertile lol the dot was an unknown when I candled for veining in the "8"day mark. Neither egg is making noise yet so no actual peeps. but the F egg is definitely alive as I can see movement. the dot egg is a big ?. IDK should I water test? How long should I leave it be? I have a Kebbonix incubator with egg candler as well as a secondary separate egg candler device. I had to reset the timer yesterday and just left it on 21 day reset with no egg turner. I am trying to keep humidity between 65 and 70 % but it's hard to keep stable 😬. I am hopeful they will hatch but Help!!! if I forgot anything please let me know? pics of babies with Mean Momma (that's her name lol). yellow hatched 6/18 , stripe hatched 6/19, and black one hatched 6/26. I left everything on lock down and just transferred baby out of incubator today and recandled eggs and reset incubator to 21 days because idk what to do.

Hi
I’m a bit confused sorry! Are all the eggs at different stages? So didn’t all start under hen on same day?

I did a newbie mistake and didn't realize momma gone broody and was stealing eggs. I didn't mark them until I separated her. After about 10 days she ate an egg eating one and left her with 9. I tried to add 2 day black baby then momma went berserk attacked all babies for safety I removed all babies. I am no forced to raise these ones I think.

Ok so we all learn from our mistakes, don’t worry but you do now have an issue.
the hen should leave the nest with the chicks that have hatched after about 24-48 hours. She will abandon the unhatched eggs as the ones she has need to eat and drink after a couple of days. They are ok at first as they live off the yolk they absorb in the egg just before hatching.
You will need to either lose the inhatched eggs or put in an incubator and raise them yourself in a brooder with heat, as she won’t accept new ones once she has had hers for a few days.
if you take the chicks that have hatched away thinking you can give her them back once the others hatch please don’t. She won’t accept the chicks back after they are a day or two old. They need to imprint on each other for first 24 hours of life. It is impossible for you to now end up with all eggs hatched and being looked flatter by mama hen. Lee her have the ones she’s hatched already as they are defo here, out the other in an incubator and if you are lucky another hen may go broody and as long as she has sat for a week at least and the chicks are only a day old you can try to give them to her. If not - you’re the mama! Good luck 😉
Also there are loads of great videos on you tube that will help you with all these things.

I can raise the babies not an issue, I am concerned with last 2 eggs in incubator.... reintegration into my large 20+ flock is my concern
Yes you will have to put them in a separate pen within the area of the main flock for a few weeks so they can be seen and then one night lift them into main coop to come out with flock in the morning I’ll be doing this with some I’m mama to after one of my broodys attacked her hatchlings 🙄
