Ascites/not eating/scaly leg mites

Alright so this one is Rihanna:
She is 8 years old and is the red egg production. She is the one who has been having all of these egg problems. She does not have ascites but she is the one I mentioned later in the this thread because she started pooping yolks.

I have been giving her amoxicillin for 9 days now. She has also been getting calcium for 9 days now. She previously had vent gleet and today she had a drippy butt with discharge coming out. She just pooped this.

Rhianna definitely needs an antibiotic. If she's been on amoxicillin for nine days at 250mg per day, she may need a stronger antibiotic. She might have a coccidia overload or intestinal worms. It wouldn't hurt to worm her and treat her with Corid. I would switch her to a sulfa antibiotic. Do you have a vet who could prescribe it?

I don’t have a vet... I will dewormer her starting today and put corrid in waters... what is the dose again?
she is the one with egg problems though so should I continue with amoxicillin and also what is the sulfa.. thing you are talking about. The link doesn’t take me to the product.

Putting her on sulfadimethoxine or the like would take care of any coccidia and at the same time fight the infection.

Meaning, that you could skip the Corid/Amprolium.

Can you screenshot a picture of the sulfadimethoxine you are talking about, I don’t know which type you are referring to. I don’t have it now so I will just start all of my chickens on the corid.

It's prescription roulette. That link now requires a prescription. Here's one that may not. You will need to make note of the dosage information at this link. https://www.jedds.com/shop/trimethoprinsulfa-100-g-medpet/ Call them and be sure you don't need a prescription.

When you get it, don't waste it on one entire gallon. Reduce the proportions down to one quart of water instead. Can you figure that out yourself?

This is a sulfa antibiotic and it's better for treating intestinal inflammation than amoxicillin.

Alright so I will do that in the morning but currently... it is 9:30 at night and I checked on her one last time and I saw this peaking out from her vent and took it out. It’s definitely an egg shell. I know I can’t get the sulfamethoxide in time... should I continue with the amoxicillin?
