I love Avocado just about all ways.... My favorite is diced and tossed with a little lemon and very good olive oil salt and pepper and garlic... served on Sour Dough bread or a bit of mixed greens. used as mayo for sandwiches.... You can use it also as an oil substitute

Right now Avocados are going for five dollars a bag at the road side stands.... when you get them they are dead ripe.

I have even had Avocado Pie..... at a potluck I still havent found a recipe. It was a lightly sweet refrigerator pie.

I am a member of Weight Watchers so I am constantly revising my regular recipes. Lightening them up And surprisingly Avocado is one of those tools.
I eat them the same way as you. LOL not much I dont like with avacado.

try to slice it, dump it in an egg batter than cover it with bread crumbs and then fry it in butter!
Or crush it with some caned tuna.

Also a great idea. I've seen this on Iron Chef America. Probably tastes alot better from scratch than the store bought version.

The tuna too. I like the texture of avocado But i am not really fond of Canned tuna i have some Canned Salmon I may do this tomorrow.

Ever tried Mexican Shrimp cocktail..... Once I had it I never went back to Coctail stuck in that horeradish and Catsup sauce....

substitute cooked tuna steaks for the canned stuff. Cook, chill and separate with a fork for the same effect in a tuna sandwich dip or melt. And I happened to really like my homemade cocktail sauce but am not a big fan of cold shrimp. Go figure right. Was actually just recently thinking of using it on something. Now I have to go through some notes.

Food on the brain. Lol
