I see a chip monk chick still wet.... Woo Hoo
such hard work this hatching business.... little naps are in order before getting coordination.

My guineas there was a crack in the shell a start of a zip and SPROING they were not only out but flopping and panting about three or four inches away....

amazing process

I would love some of those Svarts one day...  But really I only want Sumatras for now for when i get started again.  Love the history of them and how really tough they can be.  The desert is full of hungry critters and I need chickens that are quick and good fliers.  especially if they are going to be raising up Guinea Fowl.

I just got up so will be going to look at your chick cam now.

my games seem pretty crafty when it comes to predators, that or paranoid. Anyways you better get to watching first chick is hatched and started peeping.

glad one came now but expect the rest by this afternoon while I'm at work.
i cant wait
