Always. I've done a couple of senior portrait shoots, and I'm shooting a wedding as a second camera for my brother by another mother, who is also a photographer. (To clarify, he's the wedding photographer, it's not his wedding.)

If I'm honest, I photograph people to make a little money, and mostly for people whom I know. Or people who come referred by people I know and trust. It's not my passion, and it isn't something I really want to do as a career. The sky and the land don't complain if they don't like their poses. They don't ask you to make them look 10 pounds thinner or airbrush their faces, and then complain about the cost they agreed to before you started. They don't try to get you to do shoots "for the exposure with their friends", etc, etc... Just me, the stars, and some solitude, and I'm good. The only exceptions I make are for family and for friends so close they're basically family.Sounds like fun!
No. I have the shadow box sitting here and I ordered this cool looking circuit board poster print to use as a backer. It's on a boat somewhere in the Pacific. I think maybe it's under sail, based on how long it's taking. Once that shows up, I'll put it all together and hang it.
