If they are "always wrong", then what is right? If all scientific studies were wrong, then what would explain the success behind medical treatments? A coincidence of that magnitude seems practically impossible, to me at least. Additionally, if a study identifies a factor which accounts for a substantial amount of variance of something, but doesn't explain 100% of the variance, that doesn't mean that it is wrong in suggesting that the association exists, even if the association isn't perfect.No. They're always wrong. I acknowledge that you're too young to KNOW this on your own. Nevertheless they ARE always wrong. Always. I am not talking hyperbole. And don't tell me cigarettes. They were wrong on cigarettes too, before they were forced to become right.
