Assess thyself

No. They're always wrong. I acknowledge that you're too young to KNOW this on your own. Nevertheless they ARE always wrong. Always. I am not talking hyperbole. And don't tell me cigarettes. They were wrong on cigarettes too, before they were forced to become right.
If they are "always wrong", then what is right? If all scientific studies were wrong, then what would explain the success behind medical treatments? A coincidence of that magnitude seems practically impossible, to me at least. Additionally, if a study identifies a factor which accounts for a substantial amount of variance of something, but doesn't explain 100% of the variance, that doesn't mean that it is wrong in suggesting that the association exists, even if the association isn't perfect.
