Darn it....
I’ve gotten a LOT of chicks this year and my only two mortalities- this baby included- have been TSC chicks... I think it comes from the way they over crowd...
TSC said they would give me another one... or refund my money if there are none left
I think I would immediately poultry drench it if I get a new one.. we will see I’m going in the am

Damn!!!! I'd see if I could nab another one. That's a huge bummer though.

Yea it is. Poor baby was laying under the heat plate. I think that was the least lively one out of the ones I was picking. Hopefully there are some left..

Well shoot me.

Went in to get my replacement chick... they’re all marked down to 50 cents and I can only imagine the people that will take them home

So I took 12 that looked healthy. (I left about 8-10 that I wasn’t thrilled with)
Anyone want bantams in pa?!?!?

It appears I’ll be building another coop this week not just my rooster coop... I’ll need one for my silkies and bantams now

Yes... two
There was a 3rd but it didn’t look great

I dosed them all with poultry drench...
I keep checking on them... they’re pretty loud
I don’t like my brooder plate because if they’re sleeping under it I can’t see them

One of the golden colored ones has funny flipped out wings... is that just how they’ll grow in?
