At Long Last our "A' Frame Coop!

Very cute, and your playpen seems to be exactly what I need to build to take my chickens to my raised bed garden to do a little cleanup in the beds for me. Please tell me what is the white material that curves to form the top frame?

That is called PEX. We got it at HD. It's very, very flexible yet sturdy. We just made the bottom frame, drilled holes for the PEX and then put the chicken wire on with heavy staples. This is only a day time playpen though. But it's nice to put them on grass and move around as needed. Good Luck!

DL, where did you pick up your pex? Do they have it at the big-box stores now?

We got it at Home D. Probably both Home D. And L**es carry it. We were looking at PVC and one of the HD employees showed it to us and told us all about it. It was with the PVC in our HD store. Hope this helps ! = )

They really do work! I bought cheap ones from the dollar store and they worked really well!
