At what age can you determine the gender of an OEGB?

They are Black breasted red, just so you know.

Also some are light brown in color and others are dark brown does that mean something? like boy or girl?

Not at that age. Here’s some progression pictures of a BBR OEGB cockerel I had.

At around 2-3 weeks old:
