At what age should I introduce 8-week old pullets to one-year-old hens?

I agree with TwoChicksChix , they need to be closer to the same size, not that the Plymouth Rocks would go out of their way to hurt the babies, but size does would play into their court. With a pecking order already established the new kids would be a target. Good luck with your babies...
 
They're likely too big for early integration at this point (mine would already be in the coop with the adults) so yes it'd probably be better to wait until they're closer in size to the adults. You can start introducing them now by housing them next to the adults so they can start seeing and getting used to each other.
How early would you integrate them? At a few days old or maybe a week?

I integrate at 4-6 weeks...after they have been brooded amongst the flock for a few weeks. Chicks get moved to a separate coop section about 1 week after hatch. Their heater is in there and there's a separate run too.
